WHat a classic.. couldn't resist going and having a look.. As Klaus said, it's amazing that a trade show that's all about snotting people is almost a family affair.. where as a Trade Show about procreation, or just recreational sex is R18..

Anyway, had a laff here..

Check out the guy with the video system that enables him to shoot around corners (camera in the site of the rifle he's using)..

Tanks were quite impressive..

Jonas and Klaus were keen on these vehicles..

Also, there was this Grenade Rifle that shot a projectile over 300m.. and you could program the projectile to explode after a certain distance from the muzzle of the rifle by using the lazer range finder to program the round.. really.. and on the grip there was a + and - where you could add/ subtract a foot at a time to enable the round to go past an obstacle and explode behind it.. really.. Bloody impressive.. check out this link..

This place is called Jebel Hafeet.. it's a massive rock that just juts out of the ground about an hour due east from Abu Dhabi..

In the photos you can see Greg, Denise's cousin with his PHAT M5 BMW.. it's a rocket ship for sure..

LIWA Trip.

Hi Everyone..

So slack I know!!! TIme fly's when you're having fun that's for sure.. Well, last month we went on an awesome weekend trip with the Middeler family.. These pictures were taken by Klaus.. you can tell this because the photos are not out of focus, are well framed and he used a good quality of JPEG level...

Also it was cool to have Alan Jecks come and visit.. We took him to the largest Dunes we could find.. they were well big.. ooh yes..

Xmas Fun in Sweden..

Hi Everyone..

Well, trying to get some of our holiday snaps onto the internet.. here's some from Sweden.. We had a fantastic time up there, went Dog Sledding, played on the ice beside the Bergenheims family summer house.. met the real Santa.. you should ahve seen Caitlin flip out!! It was pure gold..

We also visited the Pipi Long Stocking show at 'Villa Ville Kulan' in Stockholm and that was a lot of fun as well..

Soldiering memories

Ahh.. the good old days.. well they seem like good old days now.. but then they were sh!tty cold days.. anyway, here's some shots of my in a green suit.. you'll need to look closely as I blend in to the greenery pretty convincingly..

Actually the sniper rifle I'm looking through was used to shoot at targets just a meter in front of where I was standing earlier on in the day.. the sniper was 200 Meters away to our right and was shooting across our front at targets that had been set up.. very impressive..

Finally up and running!

Well, hi everyone.. I finally got my sh!t together and started Blogging.. and what galvanised me?? It was Cameron Thomas destroying my Nissan Patrol last weekend... Check out the photos..

Well, everything is cruising along really well here, the temperature is starting to warm up, but it's still really nice still, we'll be in the local pools very soon pretty regularly so that will be nice..

Best upload these photos.. note, the two guys who were driving were not hurt at all.. If they had been travelling K's/hr slower they would have probably not rolled over.. the were going probably 15 - 20 K's/hr faster than they needed to to get over the dune..
